Job descriptionYou must be a graduate student in the Faculty of Media, Art and Performance’s Interdisciplinary Graduate Program (IDP) in Media and Artist Research at the University of Regina. Have a flair for research and writing – qualitative research experience is an asset. Have a practical experience in socially engaged theatre / performance and media production. Must be comfortable working virtually and on online platforms. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Position Summary
The Director of the Centre for Socially Engaged Theatre (C-SET), Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, is seeking a graduate research assistant who will be responsible for the following :
- Conduct bibliography (Literary review) on both (a) historical and critical materials regarding socially engaged theatre and associated topics, and (b) on socially engaged theatre / performance project across Canada and internationally.
- Collect and analyze data
- Have expertise in videography— capturing, editing and rendering
- Attend project meetings
- Deliver the final video cuts
