Your Opportunity

Stantec Consulting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Electrical ITS AutoCAD Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of drafting experience in consulting engineering. The ideal candidate will possess an Electrical Technologist diploma and demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD / MicroStation software. This role involves creating detailed electrical drawings and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD / MicroStation to create and design electrical drawings for projects in transit, transportation, highway lighting, traffic signals municipal projects from general engineering and design information according to established standard and procedures.
• Develop product design which meet client requirements and adhere to a high standard of form, function, appearance and quality.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards.
• Review and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
• Assist in the design and drafting of electrical systems for various projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain and update project documentation and drawings.
• Perform lighting calculations using software is preferred.
