Elder Care Provider Wanted - Seeking Compassionate Care Provider In Oak Bay, Victoria, Bc

We are a family in Oak Bay, Victoria, BC seeking a dedicated and compassionate care provider to join us in a full-time live out or part-time live out position to care for our 90 year old father who has dementia.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care tailored to his individual needs. We place a strong emphasis on personal care, including bathing and assisting with daily activities to promote dignity and independence. He requires all his meals to be made and encourage healthy choices and wholesome food. He still requires stimulation and going out for walks or to attend community activities is of great enjoyment to him.

Our father owns a lovely dog who requires a walk twice per day and to ensure he has food and water.

We would also ask that the caregiver do light housekeeping in down time during the day.

We are looking for caregiver team of 2 with another person for backup for sick days / holidays. Please bring to our attention if you know others that would be a good fit. Only individuals who are legally able to work in Canada and who can work as a contractor rather than an employee should apply.

Note : There is an option to rent a room and private bathroom in our fathers house. Though we do not require overnight care at this time, it will eventually grow into that.
