People Store is currently hiring for a Sales Coordinator to work for our client in the Toronto location.
Schedule : 4 days per week Monday to Thursday : 8am 4pm or 9am 5pm (must be flexible)
Hybrid Role : 2 days per week in office (currently Tues / Thurs) and 2 days can work from home
Pay Rate : $20 per hour
Job Purpose
The Sales Coordinator role conducts inside sales activities and provides support for the Sales team to grow sales and market share.
The role requires support for Sales on customer presentation material, coordination of sales activities and reporting, data administration and analytical support, and management of trade activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Inside Sales (30%) :
- Primary contact for Tele-Sales and Logo customers
- Liase with National Account Managers and Ecom Manager and execute strategy direction to achieve distribution and sales objectives
- Manage communications to customer base on new products, pricing and promotions
- Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with Customer Service
- Track and report sales performance to deliver on budget targets
- Administer broker contracts
Presentation Support for Sales Team (30%) :
- Create / update impactful customer and internal presentation slides
- Follow up with Cat Man and Insight Hubs on content requirements
- Provide support on Digital Asset Library
- Coordinate and follow up on French translation requirements
- Provide images and updates on slow and obsolete inventory
Reporting, Forms and Analytics (30%) :
- Provide monthly and ad hoc sales updates via Power BI
- Populate and manage key customer forms and portals
- Ad-hoc support for Price Exception entry support on JDE for any / all accounts
- Manage key customer distribution and pricing files and provide analysis
- BDF budget management support
- Back up POS reporting for National Accounts Sales Analyst
Trade Activity and Administration (10%) :
- Coordinate tracking of BIC and competitive retail activity
- Manage new product sample distribution
- Develop and manage trade show materials
- Distribute mail to remote Sales reps. as needed
- Coordinate off-site Sales meetings
Requirements :
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar sales environment
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office including Excel (graphing, pivot tables, spreadsheet design) and PowerPoint.
- POS Consumption and Promotional Software (Nielsen Market Track, Homescan, etc.) would be considered an asset.
- Experience in sales, reporting / analytics and department administration
- College or University degree
- Personal Leadership, Analytical, Communication, Cross-functional team collaboration, Project Management, Presentation Development and Delivery
- Minimum 2 years of proven success at working on and supporting a Team, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet key timelines
- Exceptional organizational skills with a high attention level to detail and accuracy
- French language skills are an asset
