Base pay range
CA$29.41 / hr
Shift and schedule
A new employee will start on the night shift, from 7 : 00 p.m. to 7 : 00 a.m., on a continental schedule alternating between 36 and 48 hours per week. The starting hourly rate is $29.41, plus a night shift premium of $1.35. Wage increases are offered after 6 months.

The Extrusion Apprentice will perform the following tasks while adhering to safety standards and Hood Packaging’s quality and food safety policies :
Transport resin from the warehouse to the extrusion equipment.Fill the hopper with the appropriate resin based on the type of plastic roll to be produced.Start, adjust, and optimize the extrusion lines according to production specifications.Assist in quality control using measurement tools and verification tests.Finalize the product and prepare it for shipment to the warehouse or the printing department.Maintain a high level of attention to detail to prevent any non-compliance affecting product quality.Perform any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor.Keep the work area clean, safe, and well-organized.Strictly follow workplace health and safety rules.Always respect Hood Packaging Corporation’s quality and food safety policies.Seniority level
