Corporate Lawyer

Our client, a boutique law firm, brings together enthusiastic lawyers, notaries, and paralegals who share the same values and genuinely enjoy combining their strengths to deliver their best on every mandate. As part of your role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality services in clients' commercial and real estate transactions, including preparing documentation related to business transactions, corporate reorganizations, turnovers, mergers and acquisitions, and due diligence. As a member of the team, you will participate in negotiations and discussions with the various professionals involved, while also maintaining direct contact with clients. In addition to strong negotiation skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and communication skills. The successful candidate will support clients to contribute to the success of their projects. As part of this support, the incumbent will also be required to prepare corporate documents related to financing, review issued tax memoranda, and draft corporate agreements and shareholder agreements.

EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

• Member of the Quebec Bar
• Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience in corporate law;
• Prior experience in commercial law or an interest in developing this area of practice is an asset.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously while rigorously respecting deadlines;
• Excellent oral communication skills and Written;
• Initiative, organizational skills, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and autonomy;
• Team spirit;
• Intellectual curiosity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
