SUMMARY
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Administrative Manager is responsible for overseeing the Purchasing and Administrative teams. The Administrative Manager will provide guidance and instruction regarding day-to-day duties related to the Distribution Centres in Quebec to maximize the effectiveness of customer- service levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS
- Supervise and direct the activities of the administrative and purchasing staff to achieve a high level of efficiency
- Train and mentor staff, promoting professional development within the team
- Ensure that policies and procedures are properly implemented and maintained
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes
- Communicate effectively with team members to foster a collaborative work environment
- Ensure annual and ad hoc inventory cycle counts are performed
- Proactively investigate and correct inventory discrepancies
- Ensuring efficient processing and approvals of credit notes
- Review vendor claims for accuracy
- Ensure all payables are coded correctly
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Minimum 5 years of management experienceUnderstanding of basic accounting principlesProven experience in administration and purchasing management role or similar positionProfessional communication skills required with emphasis on customer serviceExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsVery comfortable with MS Office and can quickly learn other applicationsKnowledge of JD Edwards and QlikView is an assetAptitude for details and data accuracyAble to work independentlyLINGUISTIC REQUIREMENTS
