Under the general direction of Early Learning Services and the program Supervisor, the EDP Facilitator will : provide active and engaged supervision to children between the ages of 4 – 12 yrs in our before and after school programs; provide opportunities for children that help to support physical, cognitive, emotional and social development; follow the program philosophy of a relaxed, warm and safe environment in order to help to nurture and support children and their families. Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills : consideration will be given to those who have successfully graduated from the Child and Youth Worker, Developmental Service Worker, or Recreation & Leisure programs; Candidates must have experience working with Kindergarten and / or School Age children; valid First Aid and CPR. Contract positions are offered for September through June at various locations with an hourly wage of $23.54. A current Vulnerable Sector Screening (dated within 6 months of the notice of a successful interview) is required upon hiring.
