Job description

Contract : 6 Months +

Work Model : 1-2 Days onsite in Vancouver, BC

Hours : 40 hours / week

Role Overview :

We are seeking highly skilled Backend JavaScript (Node.js) experts to join our team. The ideal candidates will focus on maintaining and enhancing BAU JavaScript / Node.js applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain and clean up existing backend code.
Improve application performance and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs efficiently.
Provide guidance and mentorship to 2–3 team members.
Support the team in troubleshooting complex technical issues.

Requirements :

Expert-level proficiency in Node.js and Javascript (BACKEND with Node)

Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Experience with trading platforms is a plus (optional).

Proven ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
