Your area of focus.

A Merchandiser is responsible for managing and organizing the vehicle inventory at dealerships or auction sites. Their main tasks include ensuring vehicles are properly displayed, accurately labeled, and ready for sale or auction. They oversee the arrangement of vehicles to optimize space and appeal, conduct regular inventory audits, and track the movement of vehicles in and out of the inventory. Additionally, they may assist with photography for online listings, maintain detailed records, and collaborate with sales teams to ensure inventory aligns with customer demand and business goals.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Posting pictures of vehicles
• Stocking them into our internal systems
• Working closely with the sales and service managers to facilitate inventory movement
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the dealership’s inventory management system.
• Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of vehicles is available for sales and service departments.
• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of vehicles within the dealership.
• Update inventory status, including new arrivals, sales, and transfers.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports to provide insights to management.
• Work closely with the sales, service, and finance departments to support inventory needs.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations regarding inventory management.
• Perform vehicle appraisals
• Buy cars either from walk-in customers, online and / or auctions.
