Nanny Wanted - Seeking A Part Time Caregiver (No Previous Experience Required)

Hello! I'm looking to hire a part time Personal Care Attendant to support me. While not a nanny role I thought this may be of interest to individuals here as there are transferable skills since my care is not highly medical.

I have a disability called Muscular Dystrophy and use a wheelchair so need assistance with all activities of daily living. As mentioned, no personal care / medical experience is required as my care is not super medical, just need someone who is dependable / reliable and willing to learn! I'm flexible with scheduling, including accommodating those with another job on the side or school.

I have some daytime shifts which would be either weekend mornings or evenings to help me with the washroom, meal preparation, tidying around my place, etc. However right now I’m mainly looking for help with overnight shifts, about 1-2 per week. This involves coming around 10pm and helping me get ready for bed and then during the night helping me turn when I call. The shift ends at 7 : 30am or 9am depending on if it’s a weekday or weekend overnight. I don’t mind if the individual sleeps overnight as long as they are not a deep sleeper so they can hear when I call!

I also have a service dog, a non-allergenic standard poodle named Clifford! So the individual must be comfortable with dogs as I need help caring for him, things such as taking him our for quick walks, putting food and water out, etc.
