INTRODUCTION :

Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1925 on a mandate that prioritizes providing meaningful employment for veterans and others committed to the well being of Canadians primarily in security guard and related services. Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services.

We are currently seeking a Commissionaire to join our growing team.

WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR :

• Monitoring CCTV and access control
• Answering to phone calls and responding to emails
• Foot patrolling of the premises
• Incident reporting
• Good radio communication with computer skills
• Ability to work independently and fast thinking skill
• Responding to alarms
• Manning reception and issuing of passes
• Prevention of theft, disorders and disturbances
• Ensuring that no loitering or soliciting takes place in the building
• Proving visitor / contractor escorts
• Other duties as assigned by the Client, or the Regional Manager

Hourly Rate of Pay : $27.40 with night premium

Location : 277 Front Street West

Hours of work : Continental Shift( 6 : 30 am - 6 : 30 pm and 6 : 30 pm to 6 : 30 am )

No parking; paid parking available nearby

As a front-line representative of our company and clients site you must be highly reliable, work well under pressure, able to work with minimal supervision, have the ability to multitask and be a professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times.
