Shipping/Receiving Associate

Are you an experienced warehouse associate seeking immediate work in Winnipeg?

Randstad is seeking a temporary warehouse worker to pick, stage, pack, put away items, and record the movement of inventory for our client in West Winnipeg.

This warehouse deals in heating equipment and parts and is heading into it's peak season. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience and be personable, some customer interaction required. There is the opportunity to become a permanent hire based on performance and attendance.

-Day shift with flexible start time (7:30am-8am)

-4% vacation pay added to each deposit

Responsibilities
-Assist with inventory counts in the show room and warehouse
- Provide support to sales team related to inventory discrepancies (i.e. investigate variance and stock outs)
- Safely and efficiently completes accurate daily shipping, receiving, and administrative requirements
-Assist counter sales staff with parts as needed
-Operate forklift, both counterbalance and stand up

Qualifications
-Previous forklift certification
-1-2 years warehouse experience
-Strong English skills
-Proficiency with basic computer programs
-Ability to stand, walk, bend and safely lift 50lbs
-Strong attention to detail and listening skills
