We are currently seeking a Lead AV Technician for our client located in the Abbotsford area. Someone who thrives on innovation, quality, and delivering exceptional results. What are the Responsibilities?

Lead & Execute

Drive success on large-scale AV projects, managing on-site activities and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to keep resources aligned and timelines on track.

Install and configure advanced AV systems, think theaters, arenas, control rooms, and more.

Be the Expert

Serve as the primary technical representative on-site, providing guidance and solutions to clients and stakeholders.

Conduct rigorous testing and quality checks to guarantee top-tier performance and safety.

Mentor & Inspire

Train and support junior technicians, sharing best practices and troubleshooting techniques.

Build a skilled, confident team that delivers excellence every time.

Solve & Support

Tackle complex technical challenges with creativity and precision.

Provide post-installation support, user training, and documentation to ensure long-term client satisfaction.

What are the Requirements?

Experience : 2–5 years in the AV industry, with at least 2 years in field services.

Certifications : AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D, or manufacturer-specific training (preferred).

Technical Mastery : Expertise in AV systems, video conferencing, control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron), audio systems, and structured cabling.

Leadership : Proven ability to mentor and manage technical teams.

Problem-Solving : Strong troubleshooting skills and a knack for creative solutions.

Communication : Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management abilities.

Other Requirements : Valid Class 5 driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and travel as needed.
