Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec.
We are currently looking for Forklift Operators at our Woodstock Plant . The forklift Operators must be available to work in the yard and / or in the tumble room.
They also need to be available on dayshift and afternoon shift, Monday to Friday.
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
- Load, unload, sort, check, move, wrap, package, store and / or pile different products, material, raw material (pallets, skids, plates, blocks, paves)
- Perform yard and plant clean-up and Plant housekeeping. Employee must keeps his work area clean.
- Participate in production as requested.
- Participate in preventive maintenance of equipment or products change as requested.
- Communicates to competent persons any quality, abnormalities or faulty situations in regards to the product, batch, quality, machine, equipment, workplace or other.
- Work as a team.
- Wear safety personal protective equipment as required for this position, work safely and observes all safety procedures such as lockout procedure, etc..
- Learn basic machine function.
- Performs all other related tasks requested by his superior
