Responsibilities
- Develop meaningful relationships with each client
- Achieve or exceed sales targets continuously
- Verify and process requests for new credit accounts and authorization requests, evaluating and approving sales up to $10,000 using all or part of the following : point score guidelines, credit report analysis, thorough verification, domestic and international Dun & Bradstreet report, public access information and banking analysis, etc.
- Support the payment operations department supervisors in processing credit & collection
- Verify and process private label and third‑party phone orders for merchandise and services
- Verify and process Personal, Business, and Cashier’s checks
- Process and maintain client files up to date with accounts and financial data changes
- Assist with sales slip / chargeback retrievals
- Perform other assigned tasks as well as special projects and related duties as required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business and Administration, or any relevant Degree with experience3‑5 years’ experience in a similar roleConsumer Credit lending (an asset)Excellent organization skills, learning skills and ability to multitaskExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Strong team valuesExceptional Customer Service skillsBilingual : French and English (spoken / written)Proficient level of English is required for regular communication with employees and managers outside of QuebecSolid knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)Ability to make ethical decisions, sound judgments and manage objectionsBenefits
