Description
As a Teacher at Tender Learning Centre, you will play a vital role in supporting our two-year-old classroom. You will develop a curriculum to help our learners grow and develop, leading the classroom and working with assistant teachers to ensure a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for our youngest learners. Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement daily activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Provide individualized attention to children, supporting their unique needs and interests.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, following health and safety guidelines.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Support children during mealtime, nap time, and other daily routines.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare or other setting required.Strong understanding of child development principles.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).EEC Teacher Certification (Required).A nurturing and patient demeanor, with a passion for early childhood education.Compensation
20 - $26 hourly
