About the Job

• Team leadership and resource management : Allocate hardware engineering resources effectively to meet product goals and deadlines.
• Coaching and development : Mentor the team through design reviews one-on-ones and growth plans.
• Project oversight : Manage concurrent mechanical and electrical projects from concept through validation and manufacturing hand-off.
• Cross-functional collaboration : Partner with software firmware and product management teams to ensure cohesive system integration.

Consult with production and manufacturing teams to ensure hardware designs assemblies and test procedures transition smoothly from engineering to production.

Working conditions

Working from the office in Waterloo at least three days per week.

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this role is CAD $120000-$145000 . Final compensation will be based on job-related skills experience and qualifications. This range reflects base pay only and does not include bonus eligibility or benefits.
