IN-HOME CAREGIVER (QUÉBEC – H3E 1T6)

Two elderly persons in Verdun are looking for a caregiver who will also perform housekeeping and other domestic tasks. This is a permanent and full-time position, 40 hours per week, five days per week. Working hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The salary is $19 per hour. The two days off are usually Saturday and Sunday, but this may vary depending on the employer’s schedule, so flexibility is essential. There is an option to live with the employer at no additional cost. The caregiver may be required to take care of the house and the husband in the absence of his wife. Languages required: French or English.

Educational level required:
General high school diploma – completed.

Experience related to employment:
1–2 years of experience with elderly people, or equivalent experience, either through work or studies as a nurse, midwife, or psychologist, is required.

Other conditions:
Punctuality, reliability, good judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and experience with elderly persons.
