About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage shipping and compliance in a fast-paced chemical and manufacturing environment. This role coordinates inbound and outbound shipments, prepares accurate shipping documentation, works with freight forwarders and carriers, and prepares Dangerous Goods Declarations.

The Logistics Coordinator maintains accurate inventory records (lot / batch, FEFO / FIFO), supports cycle counts and reconciliations, monitors stock levels to prevent stockouts and overstock, and updates ERP / WMS data to ensure full traceability. The position ensures compliance with domestic and international transportation and safety regulations.

In this role, you will contribute directly to safe, compliant, and efficient logistics operations that support laboratories every day.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, export documents, and Dangerous Goods Declarations (IATA, IMDG, DOT).
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders, LTL / TL carriers, and parcel services (FedEx, UPS, DHL).
  • Classify, package, and label hazardous materials in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Track and monitor outbound shipments, resolving delays, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Provide freight quotes and transit time estimates to internal teams.
  • Manage returns, transportation claims, and maintain accurate shipping records in ERP systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and collaborate with Production, Warehousing, Customer Service, and EHS teams.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who values accuracy, organization, and teamwork in a regulated environment.

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics or shipping, preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment
  • Experience handling chemical products, including hazardous materials
  • Working knowledge of shipping, inventory, and safety regulations (IATA, IMDG, DOT)
  • Experience preparing Dangerous Goods Declarations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience using ERP systems is an asset

    À propos du poste

    Nous recherchons un(e) Coordonnateur(trice) logistique organisé(e) et rigoureux(se) pour gérer les activités d’expédition et de conformité dans un environnement chimique et manufacturier dynamique. Le poste consiste à coordonner les expéditions entrantes et sortantes, à préparer la documentation d’expédition, à collaborer avec les transporteurs et transitaires, et à produire les Déclarations de marchandises dangereuses.

    Le / la coordonnateur(trice) logistique maintient des registres d’inventaire précis (lot / batch, FEFO / FIFO), soutient les comptages cycliques et les rapprochements, surveille les niveaux de stock afin d’éviter les ruptures ou les surplus, et met à jour les systèmes ERP / WMS pour assurer une traçabilité complète. Le poste veille également au respect des réglementations nationales et internationales en matière de transport et de sécurité.

    Dans ce rôle, vous contribuerez directement à des opérations logistiques sûres, conformes et efficaces, essentielles au soutien des laboratoires.

    Responsabilités principales :

  • Préparer les étiquettes d’expédition, connaissements, documents d’exportation et déclarations de marchandises dangereuses (IATA, IMDG, DOT).
  • Coordonner les expéditions nationales et internationales avec les transitaires, transporteurs LTL / TL et services de colis (FedEx, UPS, DHL).
  • Classer, emballer et étiqueter les matières dangereuses conformément aux exigences réglementaires.
  • Suivre et contrôler les expéditions sortantes, en résolvant les retards, dommages ou écarts.
  • Fournir des devis de transport et des estimations de temps de transit aux équipes internes.
  • Gérer les retours, les réclamations de transport et maintenir des registres d’expédition précis dans les systèmes ERP.
  • Assurer le respect des politiques de l’entreprise et collaborer avec les équipes de production, entreposage, service client et EHS (Environnement, Hygiène et Sécurité).
  • Profil recherché

    Nous recherchons une personne qui valorise la rigueur, l’organisation et le travail d’équipe dans un environnement réglementé.

  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en logistique ou en expédition, idéalement en milieu chimique ou manufacturier
  • Expérience dans la manipulation de produits chimiques, y compris des matières dangereuses
  • Bonne connaissance des réglementations en matière de transport, d’inventaire et de sécurité (IATA, IMDG, ADR / DOT)
  • Expérience dans la préparation des Déclarations de marchandises dangereuses
  • Excellente attention aux détails et fortes capacités organisationnelles
  • Expérience avec des systèmes ERP (un atout)
  • Capacité à effectuer certaines tâches physiques au besoin, dans le respect des normes de santé et sécurité
