The Opportunity

RVS invites applications for the on-call, casual positions of Caretaker I for the 2025-2026 school year for the Chestermere Area. Caretaker I, on-call casuals, are called to work on an as-needed basis, at any of our schools for all Rocky View Areas. You must be available a minimum of 8 instructional days per month, be accessible by telephone and internet, and provide your own transportation. All candidates must be available for an interview. These positions do not qualify for benefits or sick leave.

We Seek Candidates Who Possess The Following

• Ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks within a team environment
• Routine cleaning
• Attention to detail related to varied and complex cleaning tasks
• Keeps assigned sidewalks, steps, and entrances free from ice and snow
• Demonstrated pride in workmanship
• Experience working in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety, WHMIS and other relevant legislation
• Performs building security checks as scheduled by the Head Building Operator
• Positive references
