Job description

Workplace : Downtown Montreal (Hybrid 100%)

Salary : 60k to 75k

Role : Payroll Coordinator

Responsibilities

Process payroll, ensuring accuracy in attendance records, tax forms, and payments

Coordinate with HR on employee changes (new hires, terminations, salary adjustments)

Manage electronic payments, payroll checks, bonuses, deductions, and benefits

Handle employee payroll inquiries and assist with audits or compliance requests

Generate payroll reports for management as needed

Qualifications

3-5 years of payroll experience

Strong knowledge of payroll processes and related legislation (e.g., FLSA, Sarbanes-Oxley)

Proficiency in payroll systems (QuickBooks, Oracle, Kronos) and Excel

Analytical mindset with strong math skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
