Starting Rate of pay : $40.95 (Rate will be $1 less during probationary period – 900 hours worked)

Job Responsibilities :
Effective troubleshooting and repair of extrusion equipmentPLC (Allen Bradley - PLC5 / CLx) expertise to troubleshoot, install and modify programsPerform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on all equipment related to production operations and building systemsIdentify root and trend analysis, providing innovative solutions to resolve and remedy electrical / hydraulic / pneumatic issuesProvide assistance to Electrical Technicians, fostering a supportive team environmentProvide recommendations for continual improvements and maximize efficienciesMaintain a safe work environment, complying with the Company's Health & Safety guidelinesMust be able to work different shifts, overtime, weekend shifts, and commit to call-ins if required during breakdown situationsAble to do liftingAbility to work with a team and independentlyMust read, write and speak EnglishBasic math skillsGood written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience Requirements :
High school diploma or work experience equivalentMinimum 5 years’ experience within industrial automation environmentProven experience and working knowledge of PLC's (Allen Bradley)A certified Industrial Electrical License (442A / 309A)Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systemsWorking knowledge of AC / DC motors, VFDsKnowledge of PC's, Windows operating and CMMS systemsAbility to prioritize and handle multiple daily assignments with minimal supervisionKnowledge of natural gas combustion system and extrusion equipment would be a definite asset
