Job description

Description :

The Specialized IT Consultant will work in a hybrid setting (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) to support the implementation, administration, and optimization of the Planview Enterprise Portfolio Management tool. The consultant will collaborate with clients to meet business objectives, improve IT systems, and provide subject matter expertise on Planview modules and solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Partner with clients to advise on IT solutions, improving the structure and efficiency of I&IT systems.
  • Provide expertise on Planview Enterprise modules, offering end-user support and training.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Planview Enterprise implementation, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Deliver data visualizations, automated custom reports, and dashboards using tools like Microsoft Report Builder and Power BI.
  • Analyze I&IT requirements, provide objective advice, and design new systems.
  • Develop processes and procedures for deliverables and ensure quality assurance.
  • Create and deliver reports, presentations, and implementation plans tailored to client needs.

Skills and Experience Requirements :

1. Planview Enterprise Expertise (30%)

  • Extensive experience with all modules of Planview Enterprise, including :
  • Intake, financial management, request management, resource management, time reporting, strategic portfolio management, and capacity planning.
  • Proficiency in administering Planview Enterprise, including managing user accounts, lifecycle administration, and module implementations.
  • Experience leading organizations through Planview Enterprise rollouts, upgrades, and functionality adoption.
  • Skilled in creating data visualizations, custom reports, and dashboards using the Planview reporting and analytics module.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries, Microsoft Report Builder (v16+), and Power BI Desktop / Pro reporting for Planview.
  • 2. Solution Development Skills (30%)

  • Define software, hardware, and network requirements.
  • Analyze IT needs and offer independent, objective advice on IT solutions.
  • Design, test, install, and monitor new systems while adhering to change-management principles.
  • Plan, organize, and implement projects and reporting solutions, following structured development methodologies.
  • 3. Application Support Skills (25%)

  • Resolve issues with Planview Enterprise and its modules while providing user support.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions, creating training materials such as job aids and user guides.
  • Develop electronic presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • 4. Interpersonal Skills (15%)

  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively at both business and technical levels.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with teams across the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience working in collaborative environments.
  • Work Arrangement :

  • Hybrid : 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
  • Must-Have Qualifications :

  • Experience working with all Planview Enterprise modules.
  • Expertise in Planview Enterprise Portfolio Management tools, from implementation to advanced module usage.
