Program Coordinator

Hours : Full-time (including some evenings and weekends)

Salary : 52,000 to 55,000 annually (depending on experience)

Work Arrangement : In-office, with flexibility for program preparation and off-site events

Overview

Reporting to the Associate Rabbi, the Program Coordinator plays a key role in the design, coordination, and delivery of Temple Sholom’s community programming. This position focuses on building connections, fostering engagement, and strengthening Jewish life for members across all demographics, from families and youth to young adults and new parents. While the Program Coordinator is not expected to personally lead every initiative, they ensure all programs are strategically planned, well-promoted, and executed with creativity, inclusivity, and logistical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Development & Coordination

Design, coordinate, and support Temple Sholom programs that build meaningful Jewish engagement.

Monthly Family Shabbat : Plan and support monthly family-friendly services and dinners.

Kickoff Dinner

Promote programs through email, website, and social media.

Provide administrative assistance to clergy and office staff as required.

Board of Directors dinners, meetings and any other Board related events.
