As a special education technician, you play a key role in offering services to students within the Student Experience Department at LaSalle College. You advise and support both students and front‑line colleagues, intervening in both individual and collective assistance.

- Status : Permanent full‑time – 38 weeks
- Hours : 35 hours per week
- Salary : $27.71 – $39.88 per hour
Responsibilities
Act as the first line of response to psychosocial support requests from students, teachers, or administrative staff.Implement accommodations recommended by the advisor.Ensure regular follow‑up of students and promote autonomy.Support students in learning strategies, specialized software, and adapted equipment.Work on students' social skills.Coordinate and follow up with professors as needed.Complete the intervention plan and house documentation.Accompany students during panic attacks in exam periods.Perform any other related tasks.Requirements
Hold a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) with a specialization in social work, or a comparable recognized diploma.Have at least 3 years of relevant experience related to the position.Fluency in French (oral and written).Professional proficiency in English (oral and written).Benefits
