A Day in the Life :

PRT is currently recruiting seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to assist with the many different aspects of nursery responsibilities. Most of the work is done in a greenhouse and duties are focused around seedling thinning. This engaging, high paced, physical position offers a safe work environment and an opportunity for a career that will make a positive change in the world. Candidates should have a desire and keenness to learn about the seed orchard activities, work independently and efficiently. No experience required; full training provided.

About the team :

The Nursery Worker will work alongside other nursery workers under the supervision of the Nursery Lead and report to the Nursery Manager.

Required / Minimum Qualifications & Skills :

  • Reliable transportation
  • Appropriate work attire
  • Good manual dexterity and eyesight
  • Team-oriented personality with a positive attitude
  • Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs
  • Commitment to quality and safety
