Process Engineer (Canada)

Primero America’s team is currently looking for a Process Engineer.

We specialize in the design, procurement, and construction management of mineral processing plants.

Your mission :

As a Process Engineer , you will be responsible for process engineering calculations, mass balances, establishing design criteria, development of flow-sheets and P&IDs. You will help with process design and other deliverable required by our clients by providing sound knowledge and understanding of the work methods and techniques applied in the design of processing facilities, outputs for studies and coordination with other disciplines. You will also help with the development and implementation of the metallurgical functions for Primero Americas. This position is reporting to the Process Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs, design criteria, and technical specifications
• Support equipment selection and process planning
• Provide strategic guidance to engineering teams and ensure alignment with project objectives
• Propose metallurgical solutions and plan process modifications
• Participate in test work management, client requirement analysis, and plant performance follow-up
• Contribute to internal policy reviews and ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables
