Raise is hiring a  Technical Product Manager  for our client, a market-leading financial institution. This position is a  three (3)-month hybrid contract  located in either Calgary or Edmonton with the possibility for a fully remote contractor located anywhere in Canada . Description

Client Authentication - this role will be leading the planning and execution of work for a team of security developers and security infrastructure analysts advancing our client digital identity platforms and processes.

Working with delivery squads and technical leaders within Engineering, Strategy, Architecture, Risk, Cybersecurity, and Data & AI, Collaborating with all lines of the business, supporting units and external vendors, Work in close partnership with technology partners and CX.

Accountabilities

  • Innovates and sets vision for closely related products or a large scale product
  • Creates and maintains continuous strategy and roadmap of related set of products for iterations against client and business outcomes; accountable for delivering annual business objectives
  • Collaborates with leaders and PMs to set strategic product initiatives
  • Assists with coordination of Product Managers and cross-team stakeholders to keep pace with industry innovation
  • Collaborates on vision for program and works towards strategic milestones
  • Mentors more junior product managers
  • Go-to person for program or large-scale product level topics
  • Listens and responds to 360 feedback from project managers
  • Demonstrates all core skills, and scores above average in multiple interpersonal skills
  • Interprets and implements business plans set by senior executive into priorities and work

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in product ownership or product management, with a strong background in CIAM and Authentication technologies including OAuth, OIDC, and SAML.
  • Understanding and translating business objectives into technical requirements.
  • Strategic prioritization, planning, and alignment of work with business objectives.
  • Communication of status on team’s work & conveying the business value of the work that the team is doing (providing updates to both stakeholders on the projects & team leadership).
  • Agile methodology experience leading a cross-functional development team including solid expertise in story mapping, writing, and grooming.
  • Additional Qualifications

  • A high level of communication is necessary as the role requires a deep understanding of both client experience and technical processes with the ability to understand, define, document, and explain business needs and technical implementations.
  • This role is responsible for the delivery and communication of tangible value from the development team - Working knowledge of product management best practices & frameworks, Agile, Design Thinking, & Lean methodology and Authentication / Digital Identity platforms & systems will be considered an asset.
