Job Description : If you enjoy working as part of a team as well as independently, this could be for you. You will be responsible for both working independently and as a team to clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems, hoods, duct work, fans and grease traps, pressure washing, and additional projects as required.
Some flexibility with scheduling may be required as most jobs are overnight. The working environment will be in a commercial kitchen and be able to use a ladder as some projects require work from heights.
Any required Personal Protective equipment will be supplied by Crystal Clean Maintenance. Some Commercial cleaning experience is an asset.
Successful candidate will posses a valid NS drivers license with a clean driving abstract. Teams meet at our office located in Elmsdale and then go to work sites.
We clean professional kitchens all over Nova Scotia.
Main Duties
Cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust systems
Hoods, duct work, fans and grease traps.
May also include pressure washing, and additional projects as required. This job will involve bending, kneeling, squatting and working on ladders.
Night shifts
Overnight and evening shifts required.
Some Commercial cleaning experience is an asset

Legally able to obtain employment in Canada. Detail oriented. Friendly and Professional. Able to work in a team-oriented environment.
Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities. Reasoning ability. Good common sense with ability to solve practical problems.
Identify potential safety or maintenance issues. Communicate them to your supervisor. Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks Use of products or supplies and incident reporting.
Language Skills Ability to communicate effectively in English Understand and follow directions in English.
