Job description

Are you a compliance professional with a passion for healthcare and a knack for project management? We're looking for an experienced Healthcare Compliance Specialist to join our client's dynamic and detailed team on an 8-month contract to support their compliance program across Canada.

Healthcare Compliance Specialist (non-GMP based)
Markham, Ontario
Temporary Full-Time | 8-Month Contract

As part of the Canadian team, you will :

Lead and support compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with global, local, and industry standards.

Collaborate cross-functionally on high-impact projects like internal audits and process improvements.

Develop and automate workflows to streamline operations while maintaining compliance.

Draft and maintain country-specific compliance policies and procedures.

Deliver engaging compliance training and monitor completion across teams.

Implement and support monitoring programs to proactively manage risk.

Investigate potential compliance issues and recommend solutions.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in science, business, law, or related field.

5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industries.

Proven experience in a compliance-focused role - NOTE that this is not quality, regulatory or GMP Compliance but non-GMP, business compliance so please ensure you showcase this in your resume presentation

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Experience with ABAC compliance programs and training delivery.

Fluent in English (written and verbal).
