YOUR ROLE : As a Labour and Employment Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for a wide variety of cases, you will be able to work on them in depth and to play a leading advisory role. Your responsibilities will include : Act as a advisor to management on labour and employment law issues;Provide advice during the negotiation of collective agreements, support the labour relations team and manage labour standards files as well;Represent the employer in litigious cases in collective and individual labour relations and OHS;Draft agreements, policies and other documents related to employment law;Prepare and deliver training on topics related to labour and employment law;Manage certain litigation files with external firms;Perform any other duties related to the role. SKILLS REQUIRED : Member in good standing of the Québec Bar;Relevant experience of approximately 5 years or more as a litigator counsel in labour and employment law;Experience in OHS, grievance arbitration and pleading;Experience in a unionised business context;Experience in a manufacturing environment, a definite asset;Excellent interpersonal skills, good communication skills, bilingualism and autonomy;Discretion, professionalism, thoroughness, team player;Flexibility (occasional traveling).
