Position : Senior VMO IT Analyst Location : Toronto / Hybrid (3 days on-site per week) Job Type : 6-month contract to perm Our client is looking for an experienced IT Contract Specialist to join their team on a 6-month contract with a possibility to convert to permanent full-time engagement after.
Reporting to the Director, IT VMO, you will be responsible for successfully reviewing and drafting contracts and related documentation, enforcing supplier accountability to contracted service levels and KPIs, managing supplier compliance with contract terms, and researching to provide competitive supplier landscape information for contract owners, procurement, and negotiations.
You will liaise closely with IT and Legal departments, as well as communicating the VMO value proposition to various partners.
Qualifications : - 4+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating IT contracts - Expertise in procurement contract management process and contract provisions - Understanding of vendor management and project management in an Information Technology Procurement function - Motivated, self-disciplined individual with an ability to operate with limited direction and supervision - Adept in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and competitive price analysis - Deep interpersonal and communication skills to foster partnerships, consensus and effective relationships with internal staff, clients and external vendor / suppliers - Well-developed negotiation and conflict management skills, with the ability to ensure vendors adhere to contract terms, operations service support and service delivery - Experience establishing and maintaining reporting performance standards and processes including supplier performance scorecards - Knowledge of current technologies and services such as Software-as-a-Service (SAAS), Cloud and Outsourcing - Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, and the foresight to anticipate opportunities / problems and present effective solutions Interested?
