Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat's the opportunity?This is a role for someone who thrives on being given the helm so that they can run a tight ship, someone who is constantly challenging the status quo and eking out every ounce of possible efficiency. The Director, Governance and Business Enablement, will lead a variety of Global Procurement functions including operational risk management, governance, knowledge management, learning and development and third-party supplier contract template management. The successful candidate will have a hunger for process efficiency, an ability (and willingness) to get in the weeds of policy and process, and a drive to managing lean operations so that everyone is enabled to play to their strengths and focus on what matters most.What will you do?Operational risk management : work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to maintain culture of risk awareness, develop processes, controls and monitor internal policies and procedures, including centralized risk management.Knowledge management : maintain a knowledge management strategy to optimize how information is stored, shared and communicated across Global Procurement (including, but not limited to, internal collaboration tools, external- and internal-facing websites and meetings) as well as develop and execute Learning & Development strategy in partnership with senior leaders.Contract template management : ensure effective processes to maintain, store, disseminate information regarding and deliver updates to standardized third-party supplier legal templates.Communications and Executive Operations : support seamless and efficient departmental and executive operations and drive thoughtful internal communications strategy.Leadership & Relationship Management : build effective and strong relationships with key Procurement team members and Business Units by understanding key needs and dynamics across stakeholder groups, decision makers and influencers.What do you need to succeed?Must-haveBachelor degreeStrong Business and Financial acumenExcellent conceptual, analytical and problem solving skillsSuperb written and oral communication skillsFearful of mediocrity and disdain for inefficiencyNice-to-haveMBAProcurement or Contracting experienceRelated experience within a matrixed corporate environmentWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
