We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Commercial Insurance broker. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a book of business, servicing clients in a professional manner, and assisting the producer in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business.RESPONSIBILITIES : Initiate Account Planning with Producer 100 days in advance of the renewalIn collaboration with Producer, coordinate, support plans, discuss arising issues and create comprehensive plans for existing clientsManage a renewal book of business, ensuring accurate and timely servicing and billing of accountsWork closely with producer and other staff on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewal, adhering to Paisley Partners best practices and standard proceduresCoordinate, support plans, discuss arising issues, and create comprehensive plans for existing clientsDevelop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads, contributing to meeting departmental production goals.Maintain up-to-date EPIC workflow documentation and ensures workflows are followedParticipate actively in cross-sell campaigns and other initiatives as requiredActively develop an increased knowledge of related insurance products and client needsMay participate in or conduct client meetings when necessaryParticipate in training and professional development courses to enhance skills and industry knowledgeMaintain positive working relationships with clients, staff, other departments and officesOther duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS : Minimum 10+ years of commercial insurance experienceUniversity / College degree desiredR.I.B.O license requiredC.I.P. and / or C.A.I.B. designation, or at a minimum, working towards the designation(s)Superb interpersonal skills, communication, and effective problem-solving skillsAbility to be a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skillsClient development / relationship management experienceSolid understanding of policy wordings / coveragesStrong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAdvanced Skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and EPICNavacord is actively committed to support diversity, equity, and inclusion.
