- The Manager of Professional Services is a broad based role who primary functions are to lead and develop the Professional Services” portfolio within the Western Canada region of the organization.
- Working within a collaborative team of top performers, this internal and client-facing leader actively participates in opportunity development (Pre-Sales), facilitating stakeholder participation, and validating client requirements.
- This pivotal role ensures alignment of talent and expertise, managing resources and overseeing Professional Services delivery within an expanding Enterprise client base.
- Activity centers around selective out-tasking of Project-based solutions, as well as staff augmentation opportunities related to IT Professional Services.

Duties
Actively engages and participates with clients in facilitated Professional Services opportunities within established and new targeted accounts.Works closely with Regional Sales Team, Enterprise Solutions teams, as well as Service Delivery teams to ensure full understanding of the customer’s needs in order to develop and deliver an integrated solution.
Defines the scope of the business solution by understanding customer issues and conceiving deliverables as part of a team.Oversees the development and implementation of detailed systems solutions for clients using company products or proprietary tools / techniques.Plans and manages the delivery of large, complex, and diverse infrastructure solutions.Performs comprehensive cost / benefit analysis for complex solutions.Evaluates and assesses projects based upon size, complexity, percent of participation, and time frame.Provides leadership and direction on all aspects of system solutions that cross organizational and functional boundaries.Develops and maintains effective relationships with Executives in targeted companies and participates in business development and strategic decisions.Directly manages Consulting personnel. Controls hiring and terminations as needed. Provides training, coaching, and counseling to staff for continuous improvement.Reviews completed proposals for integrity, quantification of risk, and alignment to strategic direction prior to presentation to customer.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science with Project / Portfolio management certificationsMinimum of 10 years of related work experienceAn experienced leader with an extensiveProfessional Services Delivery background.
Must have an understanding ofaccount operations, P&L management, budget management, and program management methodologies.
Has a broad base of IT Infrastructure knowledge and experience across industries.Thorough understanding of Project and Portfolio Management
