Verification and Testing Engineer

OBJECTIVE This Service Contract covers the definition of the test objectives, test types, test scenario design, test procedure, test environment & test tools required during testing, to prove the operation of a train, car, system, equipment interconnections between components in accordance with software verification and validation plans in the context of the KINGSTON Train Control projects.
- Experience testing PLCs, digital IO modules, remote IO modules, CANbus, touchscreens
- Experience testing with CANopen networks (CANalyzer tools)
- Experience using Automation tools such as Robot Framework
- Experience planning and executing test cases for key application functions on both Windows and PLC based applications including Logging, Performance Digital I / O Network interfaces Interactive touchscreen applications Complex timing tests
- Familiarity working with debounced signals, network simulation tools,
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Can work well alone or as part of a team
The work is to be performed on premises of Alstom in Saint-Bruno (TIO), either by on-site presence at least 3 days per week or more as required to the company guidelines applicable and project constraints
