Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Our client is seeking a strategic and analytical Manager FP&A to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis while supporting corporate development and M&A initiatives. This role is responsible for delivering insights that drive strategic decisions, operational efficiency, and long-term growth. The successful candidate will bring strong financial modeling expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience in managing complex, global financial processes.
Your success will be defined by your ability to: - Lead the annual global budgeting process and implement rolling forecasts
- Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions
- Build financial and valuation models to support strategic initiatives, including market expansion, product launches, and M&A activities
- Deliver competitor analysis and market trend insights to senior leadership
- Utilize BI and EPM tools to provide actionable business intelligence
- Manage global cash flow, FX hedging programs, and dividend planning
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for executives and the board, including variance analysis and scenario modeling
- Coordinate global transfer pricing processes and intercompany allocations
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing financial processes
- Build and lead a team of financial and business analysts from the ground up
- Support due diligence projects and other corporate development activities
Your strengths include: - Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Professional designation: CFA, CBV, or CPA
- Minimum 5 years of relevant analytical experience, with corporate development/M&A exposure as an asset
- Advanced Excel skills (including macros) and experience with databases
- Familiarity with FP&A or EPM platforms (preferred)
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with proficiency in BI and reporting tools
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- High commercial acumen and problem-solving capability
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
