Materials Clerk

The Materials Clerk is responsible for assisting in the tracking, handling and documentation of materials within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up to date records of inventory levels.
• Assist in performing regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of products.
• Assist in receiving, inspecting and documenting of materials movement.
• Update and maintain standard work instructions for the materials department.
• Update and maintain the purchase order files.
• Complete, file and maintain NAFTA certification.

Academic/Educational Requirements

• College diploma or equivalent. Specialization in supply chain management is an asset.

Required Skills/Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, including inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
