We’re currently recruiting a Full‑Time Driver Trainer to support our growing Durham Region operations. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in shaping the next generation of professional drivers while ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional service and uphold our safety‑first culture.

Primary Responsibilities

The Driver Trainer is responsible for training and teaching employees how to drive all company‑owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner. The role also includes providing a high degree of customer service in a fast‑paced work environment.

This position includes the following duties:

• Conduct Driver Assessments to evaluate skill, safety, and readiness.
• Deliver Voyago Division Training Programs in accordance with company standards and policies.
• Facilitate License Upgrading programs, specifically for B Class licensing.
• Lead external instructional training sessions as required.
• Support the Transit Supervisor with additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid B or F Class License held for a minimum of 3 years.
• Clean Driver Abstract with no demerit points.
• Clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
• Proven track record of excellent customer service.
• Strong knowledge of Durham Region and surrounding areas.
• Effective organizational and communication skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Understanding of the vehicle‑for‑hire industry and relevant regulations.
• Familiarity with wheelchair tie‑down systems (Q'Straint and similar).
