THE ROLE

As Maintenance Worker, you will maintain all outdoor sports and recreation activity sites and their access. You will ensure maintenance and update all signage on the various activity sites. You will operate maintenance equipment to build, dig and clean the various activity sites. You will replace culverts and repair trails. You will operate transport vehicles for work done on activity sites.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

High School diploma AND some years of experience in operating a groomer (BR)

Valid Driver’s Licence (Quebec)

Experience

In landscaping or golf course maintenance

In operating specialized turf care equipment

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

French Essential

Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and / or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs / 4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs / 23 kg)

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.

Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
