Accountant

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accountant. In this role, you will be working closely with a team of accountants in a CPA firm, managing a wide range of accounting duties, from processing financial documents to preparing audit reports.

Responsibilities :

• Handling accounting tasks such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Utilizing accounting software systems for efficient and accurate data entry.
• Conducting audits and reviews for not-for-profit organizations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Preparing and filing tax documents including T1 and T2 forms, trust filings, T4 and T5's.
• Managing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to streamline and integrate operation processes and information flow in the company.
• Conducting balance sheet account reconciliations and rectifying any discrepancies.
• Assisting in tax planning and advising on strategies for small corporations.
• Utilizing ADP - Financial Services for payroll processing and other financial services.
• Working with Concur for travel and expense management.
• Overseeing CL programming for automation and report generation.
• Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of accounting.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary.
• The candidate should have knowledge of CL Programming.
• Familiarity with Concur software is a must.
• Expertise in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial.
• The candidate must be adept at performing various Accounting Functions.
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is mandatory.
• The candidate should be skilled in managing Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Auditing experience is a required skill for this role.
• The candidate must be proficient in managing Balance Sheet Account.
