Position Overview
This assignment will provide opportunities for engagement with engineers, managers, and others in different departments within the organization, and provide an understanding of some of the workings within the operating and engineering groups at FortisBC.
The co-op student may have the opportunity to gain experience with the following electrical apparatuses : Power transformer, load tap-changers, ground grids, medium and high voltage circuit breakers, voltage regulators, outdoor isolating switches, equipment monitoring systems, and auxiliary substation power systems.
