Job Overview
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, as the Rooftop Helper you are responsible for assisting drivers to load, transport and deliver building products to customer homes or construction sites manually or by using the boom truck crane safely and effectively.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :
- Assisting assigned driver with deliveries, direction navigation, and positioning the truck on the delivery site, as required.
- Assisting with the secure loading and unloading of trucks via the safe operation of a forklift.
- Retrieving product packages from the warehouse, checking manifest and orders to ensure proper products are on board.
- Unloading and neatly stacking products at the customer’s site. Taking photos for proof of undamaged, complete and correctly placed delivery.
- Assisting in inspection and maintenance of equipment.
- Ensuring all work duties comply with company’s safety policies and procedures.

High School Diploma, or equivalent.Experience working on roofs or with heights.Physically able to perform heavy lifting on ladders or angled rooftops at heights of up to 24’.Physically able to kneel and crouch as well as lift, carry, push or pull objects weighing up to 85 lbs.Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.Preferred Qualifications

You primarily work outdoors during regular business hours. Work is mobile with exposure to potential accidents or occupational hazards as well as dealing with inclement weather, heights, dust and noise. Occasional weekend or evening work may be required. Actions taken and decisions made directly impact the safety and health of others. Overtime may be required during the busy season.
