Utilities Engineering Program Manager – Sanitary Sewer Systems

The Infrastructure Planning & Analysis Division of the Engineering Department is seeking a strategic, motivated, and experienced professional engineer to join our team as Utilities Engineering Program Manager with a portfolio focus on the Sanitary Sewer Collection system. The focus of this position is to :

• Develop and implement the system Master Plan, Capital Program and other strategic plans
• Take a leadership role in the Sanitary Asset Management Plan
• Analyze impacts on the system as are result of development applications or operational changes
• Collaborate with Operators to optimize system functionality
• Lead your own technical team in the works related to system management.

This role plays a pivotal part in achieving municipal service objectives and ensuring alignment with servicing regulations. This position is responsible for guiding activities from investigation and diagnosis to project scoping through to implementation and reporting, while building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
