Our BC Operation’s team in Powell River is looking for an Office Coordinator to join their team on-site. Reporting to Director, Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for working with the operation team to support general administration and invoice payment duties. Salary range : $60,000-70,000k
Compensation will be determined by experience, industry background, education, and applicable certifications or designations.

What you’ll be doing :
Administrative support and general office duties for union and management teams, including but not limited to :
Manage vehicle and insurance updatesCoordinate staff and safety meetingsOffice management (maintain office space and supplies, shredding of confidential documents)Duties for HSSE (Health, Safety, Security Environment) programProcess invoices, manage answering calls, generation support, updating the SharePoint filing systemCoordinate completeness and correctness of invoices in Basware for processing payment through accounts payable with various stakeholders; Liaison with contractors to receive invoices and cost forecasts.Provide support to Project team including creation of investments request forms, supplier requests, budget updatesAssist and provide details to finance to support project close out process.Other duties as requiredYou should apply if you :

Minimum three (3) years of experience in related field ;General understanding of basic accounting principles;Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and resolve issues related to project schedules and cash flow requirements;Experience solving issues while working cooperatively with various departments;Skilled in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects, and demands;Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel and Word;Brookfield embraces and promotes the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
