Career Description

Title : IT Technical Account Manager (TAM)

Reports To : President & CEO

Summary of Position :

The IT Technical Account Manager provides clients with strategic IT guidance and support, ensuring their technology investments deliver maximum value. This requires you to bring each client's VOICE into HUB Technology Solutions so that our solutions and recommendations always align with their business objectives.

Clients are busy running their respective organizations, and the TAM needs to proactively engage clients so they FEEL the value you can bring to improve productivity, mitigate their risk, and consultatively advise their business. The TAM also sets HUB’s service team up for success by ensuring infrastructure lifecycle management that adheres to HUB's best practices value map.

While the goal of this role is to operate autonomously 80%+ of the time, it is also important for a TAM to know WHEN other HUB team members should participate—such as the senior member of the sales team, sales manager, Solution Architect, and / or one of the owners.

This role is at the forefront of fulfilling the mission of HUB Technology Solutions by being an advisor, guiding clients to best practices, helping them budget and plan for the future, helping “Make IT Simple and Stress-free,” and communicating the value of solutions that enable productivity and growth for their organization.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Communicate technology standards, business value, and risks associated with aging and inadequate technology solutions. Additionally, be able to articulate how HUB solutions can mitigate risk, solve operational challenges, and deliver support to clients

Establish clear expectations with clients and fellow team members in every interaction area.

Adherence and understanding of HUB’s defined processes and help develop new ones.

Maintaining a commitment to business quality and delivering legendary client service.

Resolving client inquiries expeditiously and professionally.

Liaising between various internal departments and vendors to respond to client inquiries and be proactive regarding client-related support.

Prepares sales quotes, proposals, and other client-facing deliverables as needed to respond to client service requirements and procedures.

Attend community and networking events to foster an ecosystem of complimentary trusted partners to whom you can refer clients and receive referrals.

Attend sales meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.

Association Engagement – participate in tradeshows and other association-related events.

Accountabilities :

Complete Quarterly Business Review execution with all assigned client accounts.

Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Revenue Goal attainment.

KPI for networking event attendance.

Quarterly training KPI.

Maintain an accurate pipeline, including budgeting, sales stage, expected close date, etc

Skills / Qualifications :

Basic understanding of hardware and network systems

Proven experience in a similar role, such as IT Account Manager, IT Consultant, or IT Project Manager.

Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with IT budgeting and financial management.

Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English.

Performance Evaluation :

A 1-on-1 conversation will be conducted with the President & CEO at least every 90 days. Following the Entrepreneurs' Operation System (EOS) we will review your goals, key responsibility areas, and have a feedback tool to rate how you and your manager are doing.
