Role & Responsibilities :
Prepare project EC for markups of all non-design documents such as operations, maintenance, and training documentsPrepare TPARS for affected operations, maintenance, and training documentsCoordinate detailed design activities with DTLObtain weekly status reports from Engineering Service Provider(s)Setup and chair COMS meetingsReview, concur and control the revision of the release planInitiate MRs, if required for free issue materialInform assessing of changes to design EC (FIC or intend)Initiate TCRs for TMODsEstablish the AFS / OPS acceptance strategy ahead of timeCoordinate the preparation of the work plansEnsure new Cat-IDs have been set to READY prior to start of installationSet the Design EC to ACTIVE status when installation startsReview ITF frequentlyDevelop Installation and AFS strategyPrepare detailed commissioning specs and reportsInclude work plans and WOs under the applicable Design EC XRefDocument any installation issues on the ITF and champion resolution of issuesCollaborate with DTL on FIC or Intend change (Follow ES FOX FIC process)Arrange post installation walk down with all stakeholdersProvide installation and commissioning oversightEnsure all FICs are included in an EC revision prior to AFS (Follow ES FOX FIC process)Prepare and coordinate all the AFS activities (e.g. AFS Report, AFS Declaration Form, AFS walk down and meeting)Coordinate TMOD removalCoordinate Closeout activities (Design ECs and Master ECs)Perform oversight on Design subcontractorsPrepare installation and commissioning workplans and procedures as neededUpdate operations and maintenance procedures as required to reflect the changes from the modificationPerform constructability reviews on all design packages to ensure the design is easily and efficiently constructible, and procurable.Work closely with the project management team to develop construction strategy while ensuring appropriate input from the engineering group for all the project phases.Coordinates with the engineering teams and any subcontractors for their packages of workAttend and participate in planning meetings with the design subcontractors to ensure that an efficient engineering design schedule and comprehensive list of deliverables is being provided, per phase of engineering designChairing design meetings and ensuring that schedules are progressing as plannedManaging vendor documentation and data including drawings and specificationsManage resolution of technical issues, with / for other project stakeholdersEnsures Punch Lists are properly defined and resolved prior to commissioning, Start-up and Contractor demobilization, including Available for service / Turnover, and project close-out activitiesAttend all project meetings and perform site surveys or walk-outs as necessary to ensure availability and accuracy of basic design information, either from surveys, 3D models or customer technical scopes of workCollate and keep up to date detailed design risk register and advise project team of risks that may affect site safety, costs, schedules, and client relationsAdditional duties as requiredQualifications / Requirements :
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline would be an asset6-8 years of experience in a similar construction scheduling or equivalent combination of training and related construction experienceDemonstrated understanding of scheduling, job costing, and project tracking systemsMust have strong technical, interpersonal, and organizational skillsDemonstrated understanding of Project Management Software (MS Project, Primavera etc.)Previous construction site experience is an assetAttributes :
