Work with client's construction team to manage drill program on characterization drilling.
Act as the main point of contact for all ML / ARD sampling and logistics.
Obtain and document field level ML / ARD samples according to standards and deliver to Assay Lab for testing.
Work directly with on-site Assay Lab to supply samples and assign priorities and provide the Assay Lab a forecast of incoming samples.
Data analysis, interpretation, in-field direction, and record keeping in accordance with the ML / ARD Management Plan.
Contribute to geological interpretation of the non-PAG and PAG limits including data compilation, validation, integration, and 3D modelling.
Monitor all ML / ARD material movement and log all volumes.
Actively seek opportunities to recognize health and safety hazards, resolve safety issues, and work to mitigate associated risks in the workplace
Successful candidates will have :
A Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience is required.
Mining experience is essential.
Demonstrated field experience with integrating geological data with production planning.
Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint etc.), GIS programs (ArcGIS); experience with 3D ore body modeling software is an asset.
Experience in ML / ARD and working PAG material.
Experience with digital data capture techniques and systems.
Familiarity with relevant BC and federal legislation and regulations (e.g., WorksafeBC guidelines, Mines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Legislation) is desired.
Must be able to work a rotational schedule in a remote mining camp.

40.00 - $45.00 hourly
Its a 5-6 month seasonal contract

Flight hub locations : Kelowna, Kamloops, Edmonton, Calgary (fly into Terrace, BC and then 5-6 hour bus ride to camp / site).
Rotation Schedule - 15 on / 13 off - 12 hours (13 working days, 2 days for travel)
