This is a remote position.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester with 6+ years of experience in Mainframe testing to develop and execute quality strategies for large-scale projects. The role includes managing both manual and automated tests, creating test plans, and ensuring defect tracking in a complex mainframe environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement quality strategy in collaboration with project teams.
  • Plan testing types, environments, and prerequisites based on project risks.
  • Lead test automation strategy and optimize automated tests for mainframe systems.
  • Design and monitor test cases, ensuring proper documentation and execution.
  • Coordinate test execution, environment setup, and data preparation.
  • Monitor test results, track defects, and maintain traceability.
  • Define and track quality indicators for project processes.
  • Support team members in executing the quality strategy and managing incidents.

Requirements :

  • Experience : 6+ years in Mainframe testing , including experience with COBOL , CICS , VSAM , DB2 , JCL , and IDMS .
  • Test Automation : Knowledge of sustainable test automation practices for mainframe systems.
  • Tools & Practices : Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools.
  • Industry Knowledge : Experience in financial services , trust , or insurance (preferred).
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (preferred).
  • Language : French skill is a bonus and preferred.

    • Requirements

    5+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related services such as Google Cloud Storage. 5+ years of experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform. Proficiency in development languages such as Go and Python, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience. Extensive experience in working with container-based technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Strong background in using CI / CD tools to support continuous development and deployment processes. In-depth knowledge of various database technologies, including CloudSQL, NoSQL, and Relational databases. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and the release process, especially within a container-native workflow. 5+ years of experience with configuration management tools and scripting languages such as Ansible, Bash, and Groovy. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Demonstrated ability to manage teams and work collaboratively across departments. A Google Cloud Architect certification is a strong plus.
